How can the person I invited to apply for my job contact me?

If you have a subscription plan, you can access the Talent Database and invite professionals to apply for your jobs. Here’s how the conversation starts once you’ve sent an invitation.

How an invited professional reaches you

When you invite someone, they get a notification in their Get on Board dashboard and by email, including the message you wrote in the invitation. That message is your first point of contact.

To talk further, the professional accepts the invitation and submits their application. That places them in your process, where you can both exchange messages from their applicant card on the Kanban board. There’s no separate chat before they apply: the conversation lives inside the application.

You’ll get an email when there’s a new message if you have email alerts enabled. To send and receive messages with applicants, the process needs to be unlocked.

You can also review the status of the invitations you’ve sent to see who has accepted, declined, or not yet responded.
